How M+ Hall of Fame works — rankings, data sourcing, and our custom Off-Meta algorithm.
What is M+ Hall of Fame?
M+ Hall of Fame is a real-time leaderboard tracking the fastest timed Mythic+ dungeon runs in World of Warcraft. Every entry represents a world-class performance — groups pushing the highest possible key levels with the fastest completion times.
The site is built to be the definitive reference for players who follow the competitive Mythic+ scene: whether you're studying group compositions, tracking the world-first race, or simply curious about the absolute ceiling of Mythic+.
Completely free — no paywalls, ever.
M+ Hall of Fame is and will always be free to use. If you enjoy the site and want to support its development, you're welcome to buy me a coffee — but there's absolutely no pressure.
Where does the data come from?
All ranking data is sourced directly from Raider.IO, the industry-standard Mythic+ tracking platform used by millions of WoW players. Raider.IO aggregates run data from Blizzard's own APIs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Our server fetches the latest rankings from Raider.IO every 20 minutes and caches them locally. This keeps pages fast for visitors while staying up to date with new world records as they happen.
How are rankings sorted?
Each dungeon shows the single best timed run recorded globally. Rankings are sorted using a two-stage system:
- Key level first — a higher keystone level always ranks above a lower one, regardless of time.
- Completion time second — when two runs share the same key level, the faster clear wins.
Each dungeon card links to a full run breakdown including the complete roster, specialisations, affix modifiers, and a comparison against previous records.
How does Off-Meta work?
The Off-Meta tab surfaces the best runs that were completed without conventional group compositions. A run is considered off-meta when it includes specs or role distributions that fall outside what the current meta dictates.
Our algorithm works by first establishing what the meta composition looks like across all top-ranked runs — identifying the most common specs per role. It then scores every run by how many of its five players deviate from that established meta, picking the highest-level fastest run per dungeon that clears the off-meta threshold.
The result is a second leaderboard that celebrates creative, unconventional play at the highest key levels — proving that great execution can overcome any composition.
